An Update Regarding COVID-19

Mar 16, 2020

Clients, Colleagues, and Friends:

At Waldrep LLP, we feel that it is our social responsibility, to our employees and to the community, to reduce the risk of contagion. As the number of cases of COVID-19 continues to rise, we are operating under new protocols in compliance with recommendations from the CDC and WHO. Our business will remain open, and our work will continue without interruption, but our employees are practicing social distancing to mitigate exposure. Fortunately, technology makes it possible for our business to continue to function normally.

Effective immediately, we are taking the following preventative actions:

  • Meetings: We have transitioned all meetings to virtual spaces; conference calls or video conferences are being scheduled in lieu of in-person meetings. Additionally, we have suspended all non-critical travel and events. If you have an existing meeting scheduled, we will be in touch with you to make alternative arrangements if we have not already.
  • Communication: We will continue using normal email and phone communication methods and we will continue using ShareFile to upload and share large documents. Please contact our office at 336-443-0813 if you need help connecting with a member of our team.
  • Remote Workplace: On Monday, March 16, 2020, our business began working under a completely remote model. Each employee is working from home but is accessible at their normal phone number during business hours.

Waldrep LLP is committed to providing the same service during this turbulent time as we do every other day. We are continuing to monitor this situation and will reassess our workplace guidance as new information becomes available.

Waldrep LLP Innovates at Lawyerist's LabCon

Mar 10, 2020

At Waldrep LLP, we are excited that Partner Jim Lanik will be attending Lawyerist’s LabCon in Atlanta from March 15 - 18. Jim will represent Waldrep LLP as he joins a “crew of ahead-of-the-curve lawyers to reimagine the practice of law, rethink how lawyers and their clients work together, and retool . . . law firm business models for the next decade.”

As the legal industry slowly evolves to a more client-centered, technological, business-minded practice, Waldrep LLP aims to be an early adapter of integrated law firm management and practice strategy. Working with Lawyerist and like-minded peers, Waldrep LLP partners look to adapt roles as attorney-entrepreneurs: innovating to efficiently and effectively solve legal problems for clients.
